Marrakech: Four Days to Celebrate Differently

The Brief: Turning a Birthday into a Destination Experience To celebrate a 50th birthday, our client wanted to bring together around fifty friends and family members in Marrakech. Rather than a traditional party, the idea was to create four days of shared experiences, discovery and celebration across contrasting settings. Relive Group was entrusted with designing the entire stay, creating its key moments and managing every aspect of the organisation, from travel arrangements to on-site event production. A project where every detail mattered, so guests could simply enjoy the experience. Our Approach: One Destination, Multiple Worlds Marrakech set the scene. A private villa became the heart of the experience. The Agafay Desert offered an entirely different backdrop. And four days provided the opportunity to build a carefully curated journey. Relive designed a programme balancing relaxation, cultural discoveries, activities and themed celebrations, with a distinct identity for each key moment. The goal was never to simply bring together a collection of services, but to create a cohesive experience in which every element had its place. A Private Villa Transformed into a Celebration Venue The first step was finding the right property to accommodate fifty guests and serve as the central setting for the stay. From this private villa, Relive organised a series of experiences: personalised welcomes, Moroccan lunches, a pool party, yoga sessions, massages and rooftop gatherings. For the first major celebration, the atmosphere shifted. The villa's patio was transformed into the setting for a White & Gold gala dinner. Creative direction, scenography, spatial design and supplier coordination came together to give the evening its own identity. Agafay: Turning the Desert into an Extraordinary Event Setting The following day, guests left Marrakech behind and travelled into the Agafay Desert. The programme included group transfers, a welcome at the desert camp, quad biking and buggy adventures, followed by a traditional Moroccan dinner beneath a Berber tent. For this second celebration, Relive developed a Burning Man-inspired concept, creating a striking contrast with the elegance of the previous evening. A different setting. A different energy. Another way to celebrate together. From selecting the desert camp and designing the scenography to organising activities and coordinating the evening, every aspect formed part of the overall event production. Marrakech: Cultural Discoveries and Final Celebrations The journey continued with an exploration of the city: wandering through the souks, lunch in the medina, restaurant experiences, evenings out and moments of relaxation back at the villa. Each day combined shared highlights with personal downtime, giving guests the freedom to enjoy the destination at their own pace. The final day brought everyone together for a barbecue at the villa. Coordinating flights, travel arrangements and guest transfers. Designing the programme and its different experiences. Creative direction and scenography for the themed celebrations.
